Did you think you had unlimited internet with Xfinity?

For those of you that didn't see the news, On January 1st, 2021, Xfinity ended the current “Unlimited” bandwidth service in the New England States. There is now a 1.2 TeraByte data cap in effect. You will be charged $10 for every 50GB you go over this allowance. The fee currently maxes out at $100 per month, but had been $200 a month in other states prior to the pandemic. Customers can add a “NEW” unlimited service to their plan for $30 a month to avoid the $100 per month charge.

In recent days, due to public and governmental actions, Comcast/Xfinity have decided to delay their increase in profits from the New England area until 2022.
